Adult Education Community of Practice (CoP) Run 2

19 July 2023

(In collaboration with IAL) The Joint Polytechnic Academy for Educators (JP-AcE) and the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) have come together to organise another run of Adult Education Community of Practice for adult educators on 19 July 2023 at Temasek Polytechnic.

A promotional graphic for 'ADULT EDUCATION Community of Practice Run 2' titled 'Engaging Adult Learners: The Art of Creating Affective Connections'. The design uses a green background with a stylized illustration of five people in discussion with multiple purple and blue speech bubbles.

Passionate educators from various institutions spent the afternoon sharing strategies and tips for affective engagement. The energy and enthusiasm in the room were palpable, and it was incredible to witness the collective expertise of our educators coming together. This initiative presents a remarkable opportunity for adult educators to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other.

Are you a passionate adult educator looking to take your professional development to the next level? Join our next run of Adult Education Community of Practice and be part of a dynamic community that fosters growth, collaboration, and excellence in adult education.

A group of workshop participants gather around a facilitator wearing a face mask as she points to pink and yellow sticky notes on a whiteboard. In the foreground, people sit at a round wooden table covered with laptops, notes, and water bottles, looking toward the presentation.
