(In collaboration with NYP) Designing Mobile Educational Escape Rooms for Active Learning is a hands-on workshop designed to support educators in creating engaging, mobile-friendly, and easy-to-implement escape rooms for use in their own teaching contexts.

Modern technology classroom or lab with desks holding laptops and tablets, a digital timer displaying “00:15:00,” a QR code cube, a secure lockbox, and cybersecurity-themed devices including a fingerprint scanner and illuminated electronic equipment.

Participants will first experience an educational escape room from a learner’s perspective, encouraging reflection on student engagement, collaboration, and problem-solving. The workshop then guides participants through practical design structures, facilitation strategies.Working collaboratively with fellow participants and the EduEscape Creator Chatbot, participants will co-design an educational escape room aligned with their disciplinary needs and learning outcomes.
