T&L Mentor Move-In Programme (TLMP)
For T&L Mentors in Polytechnics

About the Programme
The T&L Mentor Move-In Programme (TLMP) provides the T&L mentors across five polytechnics an opportunity to deepen learning through cross-poly learning experiences. The TLMP will build a community of reflective T&L champions to grow T&L excellence in the polytechnic sector. The programme focuses on improving T&L leadership in the areas of:
Discovering professional identity
Developing T&L expertise
Driving coaching for T&L quality and innovation
The TLMP is organised by representatives from all polytechnics.

Programme Delivery
TLMP is conducted in blended mode. Programme includes online learning, face-to-face workshops, talks, learning journey, and so on.

Programme Structure and Duration
The duration of the programme is 120 hours offered over a span of nine months. Some of the key activities for TLMP are as follow:
4-day Onboarding Programme
1-day Mid-Point Retreat
Half-day Final Teaching and Learning Festival
Five 1-hour Brown Bag Series Webinar Talks organised by the new mentors of five polytechnics throughout the nine month’s period
All new mentors will be assigned to Experienced Mentors (EM) for guidance throughout the whole programme. At the end of the programme, new mentors are expected to deliver the following:
Action Learning Practicum (ALP) – This is an individual practicum where new mentors are required to embark in an evidence-based action learning and share his/her findings
Reflective Coaching Practicum (CLP) – This is an individual practicum where new mentors are required to coach a peer and to job-shadow the assigned EM
Brown Bag Sessions – All new mentors from a polytechnic are required to work in group to organise a 1-hour lunch time webinar talk that provides insights for educators on T&L related topics
Brown Bag Series

The Brown Bag Sessions are series of 1-hour lunch time talks organised by new mentors across the five polytechnics to support more educators in enhancing their T&L capabilities.
These sessions contain valuable insights and innovative strategies that enhance educators’ teaching and learning experience.
