Welcome to the website of the Joint-Polytechnic Academy for Educators (JP-AcE).

JP-AcE was inaugurated on November 18, 2022, driven by the aspiration to foster stronger collaboration among the five polytechnics in Singapore, specifically in the realm of teaching and learning (T&L).

This marked the inaugural collaboration where all five polytechnics unite to establish an Academy focused on enhancing the teaching and learning (T&L) capabilities of polytechnic educators. The primary objective is to elevate the overall quality of education within the polytechnic sector. Our approach involves harnessing the unique strengths and innovative practices of each polytechnic, fostering collaboration among them, and extending these synergies to all individuals engaged in T&L across polytechnics and other organizations.

JP-AcE has its flagship programs, collectively known as Move-In Programmes, currently featuring four distinctive offerings. The first Move-In Programme is tailored for new polytechnic lecturers, focusing on cultivating foundational skills in teaching and learning. This comprehensive 100-hour, 1-year certification program is named the Certificate in T&L for Polytechnic Educators (CTLPE) .

In addition to this foundational program, JP-AcE extends its reach with three specialized Move-In Programmes in T&L leadership. These include a 200-hour program designed for School Leaders (School Leadership Move-In Programme (SLMP)), a 160-hour initiative catering to T&L Mentors (T&L Mentors Move-In Programme (TLMP)), and a 100-hour program tailored for course leaders (Course Leadership Move-In Programme (CLMP)).

Furthermore, we are proud to announce strategic collaborations with the Institute of Adult Learning (IAL) at Singapore University of Social Sciences and SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). Together, we are dedicated to the development and implementation of programs in Adult Learning, falling under the category of Adult Education Series. This initiative aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of adult learners, contributing to their personal and professional growth.

In parallel, our commitment to staying at the forefront of education is underscored by the Frontier Series Category. Within this category, we are conducting programs that delve into new education technologies and innovative pedagogies. By doing so, we strive to explore and embrace cutting-edge approaches that shape the future of education.
